Destroy that hard drive

There are really only two ways to destroy the data on a hard drive. 

1. Obtain a D.O.D. wipe utility/software and run it. 
2. Physically destroy the drive (see below):

This is a typical computer hard drive...  

Punch or drill holes through it insuring you have severely damaged the platter(s).  Our weapon of choice is a welding pick hammer but a drill works equally well, just be sure to hit the platters...
